Beautiful timepiece, horrendous to adjust

I love this watch, it’s a classic design that’s easy to dress up or down. I’m knocking a star for the sheer amount of energy my sister and I used when adjusting the band. The pins were nearly impossible to remove, which speaks in favor of the quality, but we literally spent two hours pounding away at the pins with a hammer to remove them. When they did come out, they ended up punching holes through our potholder barrier into our kitchen table. We then spent half an hour with pliers unbending the pins before hammering them back into the watch. The crown and mechanics to set the time tend to stick making it very difficult to set the correct time. Overall I love the watch but it was a serious battle to set up.
